16 STUDENTS GRADUATE FROM CAYMAN CAREER ACADEMY

On March 14th, Cayman Career Academy had its 3rd set of successful graduates. A total of 16 students attended CCA and all were successful awarded their respective Diplomas and Certificates from Cayman Career Academy. In total, 12 passing grades for Diplomas 4 certificates were handed out. For the first time at CCA 1 working student successfully completed 2 courses within the same period.

1 Certificate in Body Therapy

7 Diplomas in Beauty and Spa Management

Quite a number of these students were working women and mothers. When asked why the students attended CCA there were varying responses. Some local Caymanian students indicated they wanted to own their own spas in Cayman and were pleased that they could acquire this high level of education on island without having to go abroad and leave their families. Other ex -pat students indicated they heard about CCA and the track record of having very high pass rates in the CIDESCO examinations along with it being affordable, especially also because CCA offers a monthly payment plan. They also recognized the caliber of education and that with a CIDESCO Diploma one would be able to acquire a job in the spa industry in any part of the world.

Ms. Jacqueline Tomlinson-Smith, the principal of the school had this to say; “I would like to congratulate the graduands on helping CCA to keep our good name of 100% pass rate! You all have worked hard, and I am very proud of you as I know that several of you are working mothers, yet you been able to study hard and tonight will be graduating with a first-class education in the spa and beauty industry. You are now well equipped to acquire jobs as Beauty Therapists, Body Therapists, Facialists or Spa Managers in this fast-growing beauty & massage industry.”
